【Important】 Regarding the 'Media Translation Mode' and 'VC Mode': The user assumes full responsibility for all audio and video content processed. Translating copyrighted works (movies, anime, paid broadcasts, etc.) without permission may constitute copyright infringement. Do not use this tool for illegal purposes.

【Important】 When using 'VC Mode' (Voice Chat) to translate the voices of others, you must obtain their explicit consent regarding privacy and data usage (including potential AI training if using the Free Tier).

Be aware that input data sent to Gemini API under the Free Tier may be used for AI model training. Avoid processing confidential or sensitive personal information.

Voice data processed via the Web Speech API (Chrome's built-in speech recognition) is sent to Google's servers for processing. According to Google's privacy policy, this data may be used to improve their services.

All costs associated with Gemini API usage (including potential high bills) are the user's sole responsibility. The developer is not liable for any costs incurred, even in the event of software bugs or malfunctions.

Linking billing information (transitioning to the Paid Tier) removes strict API limits (e.g., 20 RPD) to enable practical streaming, but it also carries the risk of incurring charges. We strongly recommend using Google AI Studio's budgeting tools and conducting short test streams to understand the costs before starting long broadcasts, all at your own risk.

Your Gemini API key is your sole responsibility. Keep it secure and private. Never share it or show it on stream.

Momory's Privacy Commitment

Momory is architected for maximum privacy. We operate 'Zero-Server Storage' for your content. No voice data or transcripts are ever saved on our backend. Your API key and settings stay strictly in your browser's local storage. For the 'Media Tab Mode', audio chunks are processed in real-time to generate translations but are never persisted.

Data Privacy with Google Services

Momory operates with a Zero-Server Storage Architecture, meaning we do not store any of your conversational data or API keys on Momory's servers. Your Gemini API key is stored only in your browser's local storage.

However, since Momory utilizes Google's technologies (Web Speech API and Gemini API), your data is processed by Google. It is crucial to understand how your data is handled:

Web Speech API (Voice Recognition)

When using Chrome's speech recognition, voice data is sent to Google's servers for transcription. Google states that this data is processed to provide the service and may be used to improve their speech recognition technologies, with privacy protections in place.

Gemini API Free Tier

When using a Free Tier API key, your input (conversation) data MAY be used by Google to improve its AI models. This is a common practice for free services to enhance AI capabilities. Read Google's Generative AI Terms of Service for more details.
